A Dream That Never Left

Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of opening my own pâtisserie. While other kids were building sandcastles, I was busy making layer cakes. My fascination with textures, precision, and beauty led me first into the world of architecture and art — disciplines that taught me how to see structure and form in everything. But somewhere between sketches and sculptures, I realized: my true canvas has always been the dessert plate.

Crafting My Path

I began working in professional kitchens while studying, learning the rhythm and discipline of culinary life. Eventually, I followed my heart and my husband to Vienna — the city of coffee, charm, and craftsmanship — and became a certified pastry chef, which means the master pastry title. I always knew I belonged in the world of fine patisserie. Even as a teenager, my first paycheck that I got from my first job which was delivering news papers at 7 am every sunday, went straight into a luxury eye shadow palette. Because even though I grew up bein rather strapped for cash I always valued quality over quantity. And I still feel that way, especially when it comes to food.

Creating Through Chaos

Just before the world shut down because of Covid, I opened my own boutique pâtisserie — a small slice of elegance in a small town. Against all odds (and a pandemic), it thrived. But my heart never stopped longing for Vienna. When life’s circumstances led us back to Germany, and then, thankfully, back again to Austria, I pressed pause to focus on my family — and a new chapter quietly began.

Where Passion Meets Purpose

Today, I’m building something different. The world of “Chef Alisha” is my creative space — a place where pastry meets art, and where luxury doesn’t have to shout to be seen. Here, I share my journey, my craft, and a deep love for the beauty in small details. It’s a place for those who believe that life — like a perfect dessert — should be savored slowly, with a touch of elegance and a little wink of joy. The main purpose for me is to be able to work in my field, to be able to be creative and have fun trying new things. And what better way to do that than to share it with other, like-minded people who have a similar passion for ine pastries and the thrill of trying out new techniques an recipes.

“Elegance isn’t a luxury – it’s a way of creating beauty with intention. Every detail matters, every choice tells a story, and the sweetest creations are the ones made with love and care.”
